Okay, so this is going to be nothing to with what I made this blog for :L 

But you don't have to read it, It's for what I hope is a friend to show me support I guess? haha. 

So here goes..
About two years ago, I randomly came across a guy called Kris Moyse.. on YouTube.

Straight away I pretty much fell in love with his music. Modern acoustic, perfect! :)
So I continued to follow his progress and watch his YouTube videos.

Mehh, I'll cut to the chase. 2011 came along..
Watched pretty much all his videos.. even if it did annoy my dad cause I went over our download limit :') But I just couldn't resist that beautiful voice.
So last night (November 26th) me and a friend popped down to sunny 'ol Bognor Regis to see Kris.. LIVE :D
I was bloody chuffed yano! If I hadn't got my job a couple of weeks ago, I probably wouldn't have gone.. and now, I don't like to think about that. 'Cause I realised I would have missed probably the best night of this year!
It was so weird to see someone playing a song on my phone while we were on the train there, to them being right in front of us. He was bloody brilliant I'll tell you that for nowt  :P ..

REVIEW: Lauren Luke Brush

I'm going to be reviewing 4 of Lauren Luke's Make up brushes..

(L-R; Flat Eye Shadow, Tapered Blending, Foundation + Large Powder Brush)

It was an understatement to say I was exited about these brushes (after reviews and seeing the price! :D) ..
I've watched Lauren on YouTube for over a year now and she just seems so genuinely lovely!
And when she brought her brush range out I knew I had to get my hands on a couple.

So a little Ironic trip to Newcastle landed me with 2 MAC products, and to be honest.. I never thought I'd be someone to use MAC products (purely for the price) But my boyfriend told me to treat my self, so I did! :)

 So after buying a very pricey foundation and powder I came to the realization I don't have any decent brushes for either.. D:

Even though Lauren's brushes were so brilliantly priced to start with, when she made them even cheaper I just HAD TO get some! So my lovely dad got me the powder brush for Christmas and I was chuffed!

I'm pretty sure you can still tell from the picture, this brush stands up to it's name in being 'large'! So I started to use this with my MAC pressed powper.. and well,it's just bloody perfect! Holds brilliantly, applys like a dream and you can't really go wrong with it only being £6.50! :D

Next up..

Again, no complaints..

This foundation brush is unlike any I've ever used. As you can see, it's round.. unlike the 'traditional' foundation brush. Which makes application so much easier as it can get into all those difficult little places like around your eyes and nose.

Very pleased it only cost me an hours work (£6.00)

And like all the brushes I have (and I'm sure the ones I don't have).. They are super soft! :)

On to the eye brushes.. 

So just your average flat eye shadow brush..

holds products really well and applies it just as smoothly.

Good little addition to my slowly growing collection! :)

Blends like a absolute dream, very pleased with this little'un!

Okay,that wasn't a very 'in depth' review.. but I'm mega tired but needed something to keep me awake.. can't being going to sleep at 9:15 :O!

I would definitely recommend getting some of these or any of Lauren's brushes.

They're such brilliant quality and so amazingly priced!!

There is 8 brushes all together, priced from £3.25 - £6.00

By far the best brushes I've ever used, and cannot wait to purchase the ones I'm missing out of the collection! :D

REVIEW; Garnier BB Cream.

I may as well ramble about my opinion on the current craze that is BB (Blemish Balm) Creams.

I plan to try some more out,but this review is just going to be on Garniers' one..

Right so those of you who haven't tried a BB cream, where have you been?!

To put it simply I'd say it were like a tinted moisturiser..

Garnier have called theirs 'Miracle Skin Perfector'

And to be honest,I wouldn't say it was far off that for me personally.

So to the actual review ..

For a product that retails around £10, I really hoped It would actually work; and I can safely say I have no complaints :)

It has a thick foundation kind of formula but in the warmth of your hands it usually softens it up.

It applies like a dream;so smooth,natural smelling.. Just what you want to put on your face really.

I  usually use Bourjois Healthy Mix Foundation, which don't get me wrong.. I love! But It tends to break me out :/ Whereas the BB Cream doesn't, but pretty much looks the same as the Bourjois foundation. (Major plus in my books)

For that price you get a 50ml bottle, which seems pretty steep if you ask me.. but you only have to use such a small amount each application :)

So I couldn't really recommend it enough..

Cheap for the length of time it lasts, natural, doesn't break me out.. Perfect!!

The only thing I would say is a downer on it is,  there is only 2 colours (Light and Medium) ..

And the 'Light' one isn't what I'd call light.. It works okay for me but don't be fooled by the colour name! Remember.. Always try before you buy! :)

Stubborn mascara..

This is just gunna be a quickie..

I don't know about you but I've lost count the amount of products that I've been told about that get rid of stubborn ol' waterproof mascara.

From Clinique+ Estee Lauder to No7+ Virgin Vie. 

I admit,i opted for the cheaper ones..

I got given a sample size bottle of No7's make up remover thankfully cause I mean It's still £8 ish a bottle.. (near enough the same as Virgin Vie) And I can say they are both very good and actually work! :) I'm pretty slow but managed to realize the obvious.. they're both oil based so easily removes waterproof mascara. 

I use Max Factor's waterproofs.. and I'll tell you,they don't budge for just anything!

So.. oil gets it off? but I ran out of my Virgin Vie+ No7 :O

But I was walking aimlessly round the 99p shop with my mum and I though,why not just use baby oil? 

And no need to point out the obvious but It worked :)! And at 99p, I couldn't really go wrong, could I?!

Okay,so oil on your lashes/ face is not very nice.. but warm water usually gets rid of that, and it saves rubbing your eyes raw!

Eee,this post was probably pointless .. everyone probably knows this kind of stuff.

But I still see the question asked, 'How do I get waterproof mascara off?' 

It's simple; Just use good ol' cheap baby oil!

Healthy Hair..

Right so this is just gunna be a quick post about how to help grow you hair/ keep it healthy. 

I think all us girls lust after having long and healthy locks. But I personally think the main thing you have to do is stick to certain things and persist.. Quite frankly,if you don't stick to it it'll no doubt just FAIL!

I'll say now, that all I'm going to say is my personal opinions and is what I'm currently doing to help my hair grow  :)

So let's start..

So In my quest for luxurious locks, I made some pretty big (for me) changes to my hair care routine. 

Although the biggest thing I decided to do was just give my hair the chop. I mean I didn't have the longest and most damaged hair to start with.. but I felt so much better after I had it cut!

So the day after the chop, I decided..things just have to change! So I introduced a couple of different things when it came down to my hair are routine.

First things first It was time to just deal with 'second day hair'! I was actually so scared about this bit, but I knew if I wanted hair like Fleur (FleurDeForce) and Kate (Dollybowbow)... then it might just need to be done. So from that day in September I've started to wash my hair every other day, unless I'm going out of course!  :P

So on those dreaded second days, I use probably one of the most well known and used products. 

That being; 

Batiste Dry Shampoo.

This is my savior to be honest! It's easy to use, smells lovely and it's cheap! What more could you want?! :)

Comb through your hair, give it a little spritz at the roots, ruffle up a little and your good to go!

So that's those horrible second days out the way, down to the days I do actually allow a good ol' hair wash..

This bit I'll admit is pretty simple haha.. You know how it goes, lather rinse repeat! Slap the conditioner on, then it's up to you but I like to leave it on for a bit sometimes.. just for a couple of minutes then rinse out. 

Washing; Done. 

So once you've towel dried your hair, comb through with a wide toothed comb (much better for your hair as it doesn't pull on it like regular combs)

I personally try to stay away from heat (as far as hair dryers are concerned) .. If I'm in a rush and need to blow dry my hair I pop a bit of VO5's Miracle Concentrate through the ends, spritz a bit of all important heat protection in and off I go. 

If I'm in no hurry, I'll still put the Miracle Concentrate in,cause it seems to make my hair dry straighter..which is always a plus (and it smells amazing!!) 

As for straightening, I try to avoid it if I can.. Again if I'm going out, spritz some heat protection in, run the straighteners through and done.

Would it be weird If I said I sometimes put more 'product' in? Ahaa,well if it's feeling on the dry side I'll pop a bit more of the VO5 M.C in or BED HEAD After Party through the ends to just soften them up.

Okay, I think I rambled a lot there and dunno If I made much sense and the layout is probably all over the shop but I'll soon learn I'm sure!

So

• Wash hair every other day (Using a decent shampoo and conditioner)
• Try to avoid using heat tools (Hair dryer, straighteners, curling irons)
• Dry shampoo+ Heat protection should be your best friends to be honest! 
• And a little oil won't do any harm (Just make sure to avoid your roots when using it!)

There we have it, my first proper post :)

Oooer,well I'm not quite sure what to say. I guess hello is a good start? so ..hello everyone.

This is my first ever blog post so excuse the utter mess of it all.

So where to start; I'm Vicki *waves*  I'm 17, I live in sunny ol' England *thumbs up*

Most people that know me would say I'm a very shy person, and I don't begin to disagree to be honest. But I'm hoping this blog will help with my confidence and give me something to do with my days :)

I'm not claiming to be a 'beauty guru' by any means! Don't get me wrong, I love anything beauty related and would love to start doing odd product reviews etc..

I welcome any help/advice you may have. 

I don't really have anything else to say right now but I hope at least one person will follow this blog :)
