REVIEW: Superdrug Cranberry & Pomegranate Body Lotion.

Superdrug Cranberry & Pomegranate body lotion:

300ml - £1.48 (Currently on offer; Usually £2.99)

I wasn't a big fan of lotions and body butters before, as I though it took up too much time and I didn't really have reason to what with being single haha; But I received this as a Christmas present last year, had a sniff and thought I had to give it a go (Surprise surprise, it smells freakin' amazing!) It has a lovely fruity smell, but no way overly fruity and sickly like some moisturisers can be.

The first time I used it, I squeezed out quite a bit on each section on my body being used to baby lotion I thought it may be the same.. alas, I was shocked into moisturiser overload! A little bit really does go a long way with this lotion. It instantly sinks into your skin, and is by no means sticky.
I started using this again quite regularly about a month ago (No longer single, yay!) and haven't really put it down since, I'm half way through the bottle so I think I may pick up another while it's on offer to put in my replacement stash! It's safe to say this has replaced my trusty baby lotion.

I honestly have nothing bad to say about this, and I would highly recommend this, especially if you have dry skin as It's super nourishing. If you have normal skin like me (most of the time) and love to make yourself smell all fruity and nice then pop to Superdrug and pick this little baby up :) You won't be dissapointed!

What is your favourite moisturiser?

REVIEW: Victor & Rolf Flowerbomb EDP.

Victor & Rolf Flowerbomb EDP:

Prices for different sizes can be found  here (Prices at boots but also knowingly available in John Lewis and Debenhams)

I sent off for a sample of this beauty a couple of months ago and instantly fell in love.
I'm one of those people who is forever changing their perfume, I went from Gucci by Gucci - Chanel Coco Mademoiselle to this beautiful fragrance from Victor & Rolf.

What's said about it:
A thousand flowers in a bottle. Full-bodied and opulent, Flowerbomb eau de parfum explodes in a bouquet of sensations with its addictive floral notes which leave, their trail, like a whirlwind that is distinctly couture. Key ingredients include: centifolia rose, India osmanthus, catleya orchid, sambac jasmine.

I would have to agree with everything mentioned there.. I don't want to try and explain the smell to you, as everyone has different opinions when it comes to this kind of thing, but I'm certain on what I think that it smells like the Iconic Britney Spears fragrances like 'Fantasy', but better! Mature yet still sweet and playful!
I do have a big contender here, but will it ever beat my beloved Chanel.

I most certainly will be purchasing the full size of this :)

7 Deadly sins of beauty TAG.

I realise I failed keeping at one of my August goals by not blogging since September 9th, but a lot has happened in the last few weeks what with having 2 weeks off work so kinda chilled away from the mists of my laptop.

1. GREED: What is your most inexpensive beauty item? What is your most expensive? My most inexpensive beauty items would have to be those from ELF (Eyeslipsface) or MUA (Makeup Academy).
As for most expensive, I'd say my MAC Foundation and powder (Which I personally think were a waste of money, as I'd much rather use 'Drug store' foundation and powder any day!
2. WRATH: What beauty products do you have a love/hate relationship with?
I'd have to say eyeshadow, you can create so many different looks yet It has to be a special occasion that I will wake up my creative side.

3. GLUTTONY: What are you most delicious beauty products?
I'm not sure if this counts but.. my body shop; Shea lip butter (YUMMY!)

4. SLOTH: What beauty products do you neglect due to laziness?
Blush and concealer (take seconds to apply, and add so much but most of the time I feel I could simply go without)

5. PRIDE: What beauty product gives you the most self confidence?
Hands down, I'd have to say mascara.

6. LUST: What attributes do you find most attractive in the opposite sex?
Nice eyes and a nice smile will always win me over :)

7. ENVY: What items would you most like to receive as a gift?
The list is endless! I guess cheekily, I'd say something high end.. maybe the UD Naked palette..

I tag everyone! Leave a link below with your answers..

August goal review+ September goals..

Millie (2010 - As it is CLEARLY not snowing right now)

So first up, a round up of my August goal 'results'..

(Just to recap..)
1. Learn how to and use twitter.
2. Blog at least once a week.
3. Improve routine (Skin care, hair care and lifestyle)
4. Try to exercise more.
5. Try to finish a book.

4/5.. Well I can't really complain.. Those were personally pretty tough goals for me, yet still realistic and I near enough succeeded in all of the above. Pretty chuffed :)

September Goals

1. Following on from exercising more, I have joined the gym so I'm making a goal to go at least once a week.
2. As I didn't finish a book last time, It's on the list again (Only a chapter or two to go)
3. Spend time with my mum, Alex and Harrison.. before they move to France :(
4. To go with exercising more, I'm hoping to eat healthier too (More fruit/ less crap etc)
5. Drink more water (To further help improve my skin etc)

Again, I like to think these are pretty achievable *fingers crossed* ..

Do you have any goals this month?

Empties #1

So this is going to be my first 'Empties' post.. I have a bag of 'Empties' saved up, so I'm going to blog once a month around 5 products that I've just generally used up (not within that month, I'm far too slow to use full bottles of things within that space of time)

So if you'd like to know what I've liked and disliked recently, keep reading :)

So as you can see, there is nothing majorly exciting to show you but I can safely say I love and will re-purchase every one of these products.
  • Johnsons Baby Lotion:
                                   - You can buy it almost anywhere.
                                   - It smells lovely.
                                   - Long lasting moisture.
  • BedHead Moisture Maniac conditioner:
                                    - Available online& sometimes TKMaxx.
                                    - A little bit goes a long way.
                                    - Brilliant everyday conditioner, very moisturising.
  • Dove Original Deodorant (pretty boring I know):
                                     - Reminds me of holiday/summer freshness.
                                     - Again, available pretty much everywhere.
                                     - Does what it says on the tin.
  • Tesco Muscle Ease (Herbal bath soak with Thyme+ Sea Minerals):
                                     - Only available in Tesco.
                                     - Lasts a very long time!
                                     - Lovely smell.
  • The Body Shop Shea Body Butter:
                                     - Only available at The Body Shop (stores and online)
                                     - Smells divine.
                                     - Highly moisturising.
As you will probably be able to tell from these types of posts and Hauls, I'm all for nice smelling things! I couldn't recommend any of these highly enough..

If you have a post like this, be sure to link it bellow :)
